Week Ending March 2, 2018

I can't believe it is March already!!!!  I hope the weather stays warm and we can get outside to explore nature and really enjoy the fresh air!!
Monday-We reviewed the letter E with the E Book, finished our Leprechaun hats for Read and Romp, and learned about the parts of a book(front, back, spine, words, pictures, author, illustrator, etc).  We discussed that we can read a book just by looking at pictures and telling a story before we know how to read.  The kiddos practiced "reading" to each other.
Wednesday-We had a special morning at the Pike's Peak Inflatable with an extra P.E. time.  That was so much fun!!!  We reviewed the letter F with the F Book and One Fish-Two Fish-Red Fish-Blue Fish, made fish bowls, talked about rhyming words, and introduced graphs and sorting for math.
Friday-We reviewed the Letter G, read the G Book and Green Eggs and Ham, made a Green Eggs and Ham Art Project, Dr. Seuss hats, and played a game with boys vs. girls.   The girls won by one point.  The kids did a great job for pictures!!!
Next week we will be learning about the letter 0.
Have a wonderful weekend!
