Your kids are growing so quickly!  What a blessing it is to see them engaged and learning! Monday-we learned about the letter C, read our C book and If You Give a Cat a Cupcake .  We made leprechaun hats for our Read and Romp banner and learned about opposites with our  stuffed cat. We also worked on letter formation with dry erase boards so we can erase and try  over and over again. Wednesday-we traced our heart sheet, practiced writing our names,  had a cookie shop where we served pretend cookies and cinnamon rolls to learn  about our hard c and soft c letter sounds, and practiced our numbers with paint and our fingers. Have a wonderful weekend! Initially our sheet says we will review the letters from this month but since the children know them so well,  we will review previous letters taught before January. We will review the letters E(Monday), F(Wednesday) and G(Friday). Should be fun to find your letter for  show and tell based on your day. ;)

Wednesday  was just as much fun. We had our reading buddies visit us today.  We used marbles to paint red hearts, watched how to mix white and red to make pink and practiced writing our names.  We received a goody bag and water bottle from my friend-Sheri Love- from Love Dentistry.  It couldn't be more fitting because "L" is for Love.   Friday  we read  I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato  and talked about trying new foods and eating healthy ones.  We also ran an experiment today with LIZARDS.  We observed the lizards chang

We had a great Pioneer Day!  The kids all seemed to enjoy themselves and learned about Kansas as well!  Wednesday was full of learning about the Letter I and making clay creations for the glass cases that will be displayed starting next week. I enjoyed meeting you all for conferences and feel so blessed to be a part of your lives and the lives of your children.  You all have amazing kids!   I can't wait to see what the upcoming months have in store for us and how much they will grow academically, socially and emotionally.  Have a wonderful weekend! Letter of the week is L.
